Organic Three Bean Turkey Chili

I am just so madly in love with this recipe.  Not only is it simple to make, but it's tastes good and is SO healthy!  Comparatively speaking, a canned turkey chili with beans will not have scary nutritional information.  What it will have are chemicals, preservatives, and not nearly the homemade touch if you make THIS variety.  At 196 calories, 1 gram of fat, 20 grams of carbs, and 24 grams of good for you protein, I hope you'll try it in these coming chilly months...hahaha, no pun intended.

Ingredients:

2 lbs. extra lean ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 T. garlic powder
2 4 ounce cans of diced green chilies
1 15 ounce can organic tri-bean blend (pinto, kidney, and black beans)
1 15 ounce can organic black beans
1 14.5 ounce cans organic diced tomatoes (do not drain)
1 T. Xylitol Brown Sugar Blend
1 T. chili powder
2 T. white vinegar
3 T. yellow mustard
2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. salt

Directions:

In a large pot, add onions and ground turkey.  Season with garlic powder and cook until no longer pink.  Drain excess fat.
Add the green chilies, rinsed off beans (adding the liquid adds extra starch you don't need), tomatoes and liquid, xylitol and spices.  Stir until combined.
Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer for about 10 minutes.

Makes 10 servings.

Cook, eat clean, & love!
